Morehouse, Nill earn scholarships

Unison Bank has awarded two Unison scholarships to area seniors. The recipients are Kathryn Morehouse, $500, and Abigail Nill, $500.

The scholarship applicants are judged on the basis of community involvement, their definition of “community spirit” and how the leadership roles they have held will help prepare them to be community leaders in the future. Unison Bank recognizes the importance of continued education for youth to the future of the community.

Morehouse is a senior at Jamestown High School and will be attending Northern State University, Aberdeen, S.D. She is the daughter of Luella Morehouse. Nill is also a graduate of Jamestown High School and will be attending Jamestown College. She is the daughter of Timothy and Kathryn Nill.
