Fans of cable-channel MTV’s Challenge shows already know that River Falls native and reality-show veteran Landon Lueck remains a contestant on the show “Fresh Meat II” after six episodes.
Appearing for the sixth time in an MTV series, Lueck said this Challenge show paired new participants with people of the opposite gender who have already completed several of them.
The pairs compete with each other in physical challenges, and each week a team gets eliminated. Winners take home big cash awards and other kinds of prizes.
“Fresh Meat II” airs 9 p.m. Wednesdays and is set in Whistler, Canada. Lueck said there are a few more episodes left; he thinks three.
Though he knows who won, participants are bound by contract to not reveal that.
The 30-year-old spoke to the Journal while in Milwaukee, where he was training for a new job. He said he accepted a full-time position as a field consultant for Henry Schein Dental.
The company’s headquarters are in Milwaukee; Lueck will be working in San Diego, Calif., and plans to move there soon.
He said about his reality TV work, “This is will very likely be my last show.”
Lueck, an avid and often competitive mountain biker, said he still blogs occasionally but hasn’t done much lately. People can find his blog online at http://landonlueck.blogspot.com/.
