N.D. DOT begins planning for 2011-2014

North Dakota’s Transportation Department is seeking public comments on a four-year program of improvements to be funded with federal highway and transit dollars.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota’s Transportation Department is seeking public comments on a four-year program of improvements to be funded with federal highway and transit dollars.

The draft 2011-2014 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program is posted on the department’s website at www.dot.nd.gov.

The program includes improvements to state and county highways, urban streets, roadway safety features, bikeways and busing programs. Comments are being accepted until July 2.
