DOT requesting public comments

The North Dakota Department of Transportation is requesting public comments as it prepares the 2011-2014 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation is requesting public comments as it prepares the 2011-2014 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.

STIP is a four-year program of transportation improvements to be funded with federal highway and transit mon-ies. Improvements include state and county highways, urban streets, roadway safety features, bikeways and busing programs.

The public is invited to view the STIP on the NDDOT website at www.dot.nd.gov.

Comments about state highway projects and other issues concerning the STIP should be submitted to the appropriate NDDOT contact at the Valley City District, 701/845-8800.
