188th Army Band summer concert series kicks off
The North Dakota National Guard’s 188th Army Band will spend its two-week annual training performing a series of free concerts around the state.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota National Guard’s 188th Army Band will spend its two-week annual training performing a series of free concerts around the state.
The concerts kick off Saturday with ensemble performances at the state Capitol in Bismarck and Devils Lake’s Roosevelt Park.
The 188th Army Band is made up of several performing ensembles, ranging from a marching band to a brass quintet.
Performances also are planned in the next two weeks in Rugby, Cando, Linton, Harvey and the International Peace Garden north of Dunseith. There also will be other performances in Bismarck and Devils Lake.
