BISMARCK (AP) — Bob Long’s 1908 Maxwell may be one of the oldest and most reliable cars on the road.

Long said the 102-year-old car is in original condition and has never been restored. The car’s original green paint job has faded to black over the last century but it still runs. It has a two-cylinder engine and brass gas-burning headlights

Long said the car was sold at his father’s dealership that burned down around 1920. He said he still takes the old Maxwell out for an occasional drive.

The car will be featured at an auto show in Mandan this weekend.
