Motorcyclist seriously injured after hitting lawn tractor in road in central Minnesota

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. – A 31-year-old Glenwood, Minn., man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash involving a lawn tractor Monday night.

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. – A 31-year-old Glenwood, Minn., man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash involving a lawn tractor Monday night.

Reid Haberer, 22, of Cyrus was pulling a trailer on Highway 27 about seven miles east of Hoffman at about 5:40 p.m. when the tailgate on the trailer came down and a lawn tractor fell into the road, according to the State Patrol.

Jason Davidson was riding a 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle and struck the lawn tractor. He was thrown off the motorcycle.

He was transported by ambulance to the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria. He was later airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center.

The State Patrol accident report listed Davidson in critical condition.
