No arrests made during sobriety checkpoint in Burleigh County

A sobriety checkpoint was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 27 in the northbound lanes of Highway 1804 just to the south of 48th Avenue in rural Burleigh County.

A sobriety checkpoint was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 27 in the northbound lanes of Highway 1804 just to the south of 48th Avenue in rural Burleigh County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol, along with the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department, conducted the sobriety checkpoint. Of the 291 vehicles entering the checkpoint, nine drivers were evaluated for impairment. No drivers were arrested for DUI. One other violation was reported.
