LaMoure split four games to place third at the Valley City Legion tournament last weekend.
New Rockford-Sheyenne jumped on Post 19 early in the opener, beating LaMoure 16-5.
Stephen Guler went the distance on the mound for the Black Sox and scored three runs in the win. Marc Guler went 2 for 3, with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Brett Hample had two of LaMoure’s six hits. Aaron Stemen clubbed a three-run shot, but errors did in Post 19 as they were flagged with six defensive miscues.
LaMoure bounced back with a 12-2 win over Lidgerwood, scoring at least once in all five of its at bats.
Brett Hample went the route on the hill and was one of five Post 19 sticks with two hits in the tilt. Chad Limesand, Cole Gentzkow, Stemen and Tyler Thielges each added two safeties. Gentzkow drove in three runs and Limesand scored three times.
Enderlin broke a 3-3 tie with three in the top of the sixth to beat Post 19 6-3 in a game called early because of weather.
Dillon Anderson got the win on the mound for Enderlin, going all six. Dylan Wadeson had two of their eight hits.
Thielges topped Post 19, going 2 for 2 with a 2-run double. Gentzkow added an RBI-single.
Limesand closed out the weekend with a nine-strikeout, complete-game win for Post 19 as they were all over Edgeley 18-4.
Hample capped off a big weekend at the plate with a 4 for 4 outing and scored twice. Stemen went 2 for 2, 2 runs, two doubles and four RBIs. Gaige Dunn doubled and scored twice. Limesand knocked in two. Russ Young and Thielges also had two hits as nine Post 19 batters collected hits as they improved to 12-7 overall.
Justin Rott had three of Edgeley’s 10 hits.
