Asphalt work to begin in southwest Jamestown

Asphalt work as part of the city’s annual street maintenance program(Paving District #10-41) will be starting in the southwest part of Jamestown and will be ongoing for the next several weeks, according to the city engineer's office.

Asphalt work as part of the city’s annual street maintenance program(Paving District #10-41) will be starting in the southwest part of Jamestown and will be ongoing for the next several weeks, according to the city engineer's office.

Work will begin between Seventh Street Southwest and 25th Street Southwest and between Sixth Avenue Southwest and 17th Avenue Southwest. Extreme caution should be used when entering the road construction areas, officials said.

The public should consider alternate routes.
