Isaacs singing at STEER barbecue

On July 17, at 5 p.m., The Isaacs will present a program at the Annual Beef Barbecue sponsored by STEER, Inc. The Isaacs are a multi-awardwinning family group that began singing 30 years ago. The Isaacs have a unique style that blends tight, family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation that appeals to a variety of audiences. Their musical influences immerge from all genres of music including bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, country, contemporary acoustic and southern gospel. The Isaacs recently won the 2010 Dove award for Bluegrass Album of the Year.

STEER, Inc. is a nonprofit organization designed to channel funds to missions. Funds generated through the STEER program are used for individual missionary support, world relief, medical needs, Christian radio, literature, aviation and education facilities overseas. STEER, Inc. has channeled more than $16 million to missions since the program began in 1957.

The public is invited to attend the barbeque at the First Evangelical Free Church, 205 43rd Ave., Bismarck. A free will mission offering will be received to cover the cost of the event and for the ministry of STEER, Inc. Meal reservations must be made in advance by calling the STEER office at 701-258-4911 or Email: events@steerinc.com by July 15. Reserved tickets will be available to pick up upon arrival at the barbeque on Saturday afternoon. Those who don’t reserve a meal ticket can still come and enjoy the concert.
