N.D. man to be part of fitness council
BISMARCK (AP) — North Dakota’s congressional delegation says a Bismarck doctor has been appointed to the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.
BISMARCK (AP) — North Dakota’s congressional delegation says a Bismarck doctor has been appointed to the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.
Dr. Stephen McDonough has worked for 30 years as a pediatrician in North Dakota, spent more than 15 years in senior positions at the state Health Department and is a longtime faculty member at the University of North Dakota medical school.
The President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition is a committee of volunteer citizens who advise the president through the secretary of Health and Human Services.
