The North Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking comments on the amendments to the 2010-2013 State Transportation Improvement Program for inclusion of the following previously-unpublished projects in 2010:
The North Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking comments on the amendments to the 2010-2013 State Transportation Improvement Program for inclusion of the following previously-unpublished projects in 2010:
Lewis & Clark Legacy Trail Project: Washburn, along U.S. 83 from N.D. 200A S to Fourth Avenue; Fourth Avenue to Ninth Street; Ninth Street to the railroad; Shared Use Path, Signing, and Marking. Total Cost = $406,591
Safe Routes to School Project: Washburn, along 7th Street from Heritage Drive, across U.S. 83 to the public school; Restoration of existing pedestrian underpass beneath US 83 and construction of a concrete sidewalk. Total Cost = $121,908
The public is invited to view the current STIP by going to the NDDOT website at www.dot.nd.gov and clicking on “Final STIP (2010-2013).”
Comments should be sent no later than Aug. 6 to Paul Benning at NDDOT, 608 E Boulevard Ave, Bismarck, ND 58505-0700, or sent via e-mail to pbenning@nd.gov with “Transportation Enhancement projects” in the subject line.
