Jamestown residents asked to limit water use next week

Due to construction activities at the Water Treatment Plant, the city of Jamestown is asking residents to restrict unnecessary water usage from 7 a.m. July 12 through 7 a.m. July 14.

Due to construction activities at the Water Treatment Plant, the city of Jamestown is asking residents to restrict unnecessary water usage from 7 a.m. July 12 through 7 a.m. July 14.

This includes lawn watering, clothes washing and the use of dish washing machines.

Periodic restrictions may again be required in the future due to construction, but will be kept to a minimum, the city engineer's office said.
