CARRINGTON, N.D. (AP) — Officials who testified at a hearing in Carrington on Friday said conditions are worsening on U.S. Highways 52 and 281 in North Dakota.
Their comments came at a Senate Budget Committee field hearing held by Sen. Kent Conrad and Rep. Earl Pomeroy.
The two North Dakota Democrats say that as Congress begins to consider its next round of infrastructure investments, a consensus is needed on North Dakota's greatest needs.
The senators held a similar hearing Thursday in New Town, where talk centered around state Highway 23.
