Road construction begins near Strasburg on July 19

Construction work will begin July 19 on U.S. Highway 83 in Strasburg. The one-mile project will include intersection realignment and the addition of turn lanes at two intersections.

Construction work will begin July 19 on U.S. Highway 83 in Strasburg. The one-mile project will include intersection realignment and the addition of turn lanes at two intersections.

During construction:

* Speed reduction from 65 to 45 mph.

* Flaggers will be present.

* Delays may be encountered.

* Oil will be present on Rodeo Road and 89 Street SE.

* Unpaved or dirt/gravel will be present on Rodeo Road and 89 Street SE until paving is complete.

This project is expected to be completed by mid-October.
