Road construction starts Wednesday near Woodworth
Construction will begin on Wednesday on N.D. Highway 36 between the junction of N.D. Highway 3 and Woodworth in central North Dakota, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

During construction:
* Speed limit reduced to 55 mph in work zone
* A width restriction of 12 feet will be in place
* Pilot car will be present to guide motorists through the work zone
* Motorists should expect delays up to 20 minutes as they wait for the pilot car.
This project should be complete by mid-September.
Rear-end crashes are the most common in work zones. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra distance between their vehicles and the vehicles in front of them, use extra caution, and obey posted signs.
