Bike tour getting under way

GARRISON, N.D. (AP) — The annual CANDISC bike tour is getting under way in North Dakota.

CANDISC stands for Cycling Around North Dakota in Sakakawea Country. It starts Saturday at Fort Stevenson State Park. Riders on the 18th tour will cover nearly 450 miles, returning Saturday.

Organizers say this year's field includes about 325 riders, down from about 400 last year.
