Letter to the editor: Trip to see LaMoure theater performance was worthwhile

I am writing to rave about the wonderful performance I witnessed at the LaMoure County Summer Musical Theatre in Grand Rapids, N.D., on July 22. I have been a follower of the theater for years, even performing in some productions, but have yet to see such a grand show. This small, quaint theater group has managed to go beyond expectations with “Beauty and The Beast.”

Thank you to The Jamestown Sun for the wonderful coverage and the front page picture. It encouraged me to attend and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to enjoy such an eventful night. The characters are wonderful, the sound quality was great and I have to say that I did not expect such a professional performance from a community theater. I was pleasantly surprised and have recommended this production to many of my friends and many more complete strangers. The show plays through this Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. I encourage you not to miss this one!
