LUDINGTON, Mich. (AP) — Authorities have identified the body of a third person killed when a small plane crashed in Lake Michigan during a medical flight nine days ago. A fourth victim remains missing.

The Mason County Sheriff's Office says the third body was recovered Saturday night, and a medical examiner told the Ludington Daily News on Sunday it has been identified as Dr. James Hall.

Co-pilot Earl Davidson remains missing.

Bodies belonging to Alma school superintendent and cancer patient Don Pavlik and his wife, Irene, were recovered Friday.

The pilot was the only one of five people on board the flight to survive the July 23 crash. Sixty-six-year-old Jerry Freed of Alma was rescued that day.
