A Jamestown man pleaded guilty to committing a sexual act with someone under the age of 12 at Southeast District court Tuesday.
Andrew Phillip Sherburne-Roller, 28, 719 First Ave. N., was accused of gross sexual imposition, a Class AA felony. Class AA felonies are the highest level offence in North Dakota, said Fritz Fremgen, Stutsman County States Attorney, and punishable by up to life in prison without parole.
Sherburne-Roller, 28, was charged after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 719 First Ave. N. in April. On arrival, the officers located two adult men and four small children. The investigation into the incident found a 4-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Sherburne-Roller is being held in the Stutsman County Corrections Center on $125,000 cash bond order, Fremgen said.
Sentencing is set for October pending a pre-sentence investigation as well as a psychological evaluation.
