Woman pleads guilty to reservation assault
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A woman has pleaded guilty to attacking her 23-year-old son with a knife on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A woman has pleaded guilty to attacking her 23-year-old son with a knife on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
Arletta Stretches is charged in federal court with assault with a dangerous weapon. Authorities say the attack happened on Feb. 25 at her home in Cannonball.
Stretches faces a maximum penalty of six months in prison. Sentencing has not been scheduled.
The Standing Rock reservation straddles the North Dakota-South Dakota border.
