MINOT (AP) — An aviator, an actress, a coach and a public servant are this year’s inductees to the Scandinavian-American Hall of Fame.
MINOT (AP) — An aviator, an actress, a coach and a public servant are this year’s inductees to the Scandinavian-American Hall of Fame.
They will be honored at the hall’s 27th annual awards banquet Sept. 29 at the Holiday Inn Riverside in Minot. The event is in conjunction with the Norsk Hostfest Scandinavian heritage festival.
This year’s inductees are the late John D. Odegard, who founded aviation training at the University of North Dakota; actress Tippi Hedren, who worked with directors Alfred Hitchcock and Charlie Chaplin; legendary college basketball coach Lute Olson; and former North Dakota lieutenant governor Lloyd Omdahl.
