Seal coat work to begin next week in southwest Jamestown

Seal coat work as part of the city’s annual street maintenance program (Paving District #10-41) will be starting in the southwest part of Jamestown and will be ongoing for the next week, city officials announced Wednesday.

Seal coat work as part of the city’s annual street maintenance program (Paving District #10-41) will be starting in the southwest part of Jamestown and will be ongoing for the next week, city officials announced Wednesday.

All vehicles should be removed from the streets where contractor has posted signs.

Work will take place between approximately Seventh Street Southwest and 25th Street Southwest between Sixth Avenue Southwest and 17th Avenue Southwest.

Caution should be used when entering the road construction areas, officials said.

The public should consider alternate routes.
