Prairie Rose and the Sidekicks come from central North Dakota and are made up of mother Cathy and children Slade, Cheyenne and Cassidy, who sing in four-part harmony. They play guitar, banjo and violin. This musical group has sung at many events including the Cody Stampede, Cheyenne Cowboy Symposium and North Dakota Governor’s Prayer Breakfast.

As a family they have performed in numerous states throughout the country and have sung their rendition of the national anthem at University of North Dakota hockey games, Bobcats games and Redhawks baseball games.

Prairie Rose shared the Cover of Country Woman magazine with son, Slade, and the family was recognized as the first Homegrown Talent Contest winners through KFYR in 1999.
