St. John’s to bless students, teachers
St. John’s Lutheran Church will support students and teachers with a blessing of students, backpacks and teachers celebration at the 9 and 11 a.m. worship services Sunday. All students are invited to come with their backpacks, school bags or any kind of student bag. The blessing of the backpacks will include students, parents and other caregivers to be present for recognition and for prayers. All teachers are also invited to attend where those present will pray for God’s blessing upon them as they prepare another year of lesson plans, assignments, test writing and paper grading.
