Lynette Kuss and Steve Berg, both Jamestown, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Shirley Barnes, Courtenay, N.D., and Wayne and Susan Balvitsch, Farmington, Minn., and the late Raymond and Barbara Berg.

Lynette is a 1994 graduate of Cooperstown High School, Cooperstown, N.D. She is employed as a salon owner/stylist at Etc Salon, Jamestown.

Steve is a 1986 graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, N.D. He is employed as a manufacturing engineer with Applied Engineering, Fargo, N.D.

A Sept. 11 wedding is planned at United Presbyterian Church, Jamestown, with a reception and dance to follow at the Gladstone Inn & Suites, Jamestown.
