Dobmeier, Rudy

Amanda Dobmeier and Christopher Rudy, both Grand Forks, N.D., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Doug and Sarah Dobmeier, Fargo, N.D., and Mike Rudy, Jamestown, and Joan Rudy, Bismarck, N.D.

Amanda is a 2003 graduate of Fargo South High School, Fargo, and graduated from Northland Community and Technical College, East Grand Forks, Minn., in 2007, with an associate degree in nursing. She is employed as an LPN at Altru Clinic, Grand Forks.

Christopher is a 2003 graduate of Jamestown High School and graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, in 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is employed as a sales team leader at Wireless Concepts Alltel, Grand Forks.

A Sept. 18 wedding is planned at Hope Lutheran Church, Fargo, with a reception and dance to follow at Holiday Inn.
