Woman killed in crash near N.D. state park entrance
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A Grand Forks woman has been killed in a two-vehicle crash near the entrance to Turtle River State Park.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A Grand Forks woman has been killed in a two-vehicle crash near the entrance to Turtle River State Park.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the 82-year-old woman pulled onto U.S. Highway 2 from the park's entrance and into the path of a pickup about 6 p.m. Saturday. The vehicles collided, and the woman died at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The patrol says the driver of the pickup, a 31-year-old woman from Marshall, Minn., was not hurt, but one of her seven passengers was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
