Helen Bothne, 100, Jamestown, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center, Jamestown. Helen Boschee was born March 14, 1910, at Wishek, N.D., the daughter of Jacob and Katherine (Rudolph) Boschee.

Helen Bothne, 100, Jamestown, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center, Jamestown.

Helen Boschee was born March 14, 1910, at Wishek, N.D., the daughter of Jacob and Katherine (Rudolph) Boschee. She grew up and attended school in Wishek. She moved to Bismarck, N.D., and worked for Gov. William Langer’s family. She married Elmo Bothne on Nov. 1, 1941, at St. Louis, Mo. They moved to the Chicago area. In 1962, they moved to Miramar, Fla. He died Oct. 1, 1991. She moved to Jamestown in September 1992. She moved to Central Dakota Village in April 2007. In February 2010 she moved to Rosadale, where she celebrated her 100th birthday. On July 7, 2010, she moved to Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers and eight sisters.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Jamestown, with Chaplain David Fisher officiating.

Visitation: none scheduled. Arrangements by Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Vista Memorial Gardens, Miramar.
