University of Mary might have record enrollment

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Officials at the University of Mary say enrollment this fall could surpass 3,000 students for the first time in the Bismarck school's 51-year history.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Officials at the University of Mary say enrollment this fall could surpass 3,000 students for the first time in the Bismarck school's 51-year history.

The school says 2,940 students were enrolled on the first day of fall classes, and the number is likely to increase when the university's 18 adult education centers in six states begin classes in early September.

Students from 23 countries and 41 states are attending Mary.
