Church hosting speaker Sunday

The Rev. Dan Johnson, Cordova, Tenn., will be a guest speaker at 6 p.m. Sunday at First Assembly of God Church, 1720 Eighth Ave. S.W.

The Rev. Dan Johnson, Cordova, Tenn., will be a guest speaker at 6 p.m. Sunday at First Assembly of God Church, 1720 Eighth Ave. S.W.

Johnson is a native of Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School and North Central University, Minneapolis. His father, Herman Johnson, was a Jamestown pastor and district superintendent of the North Dakota Assemblies of God.

Johnson has had a successful career as a speaker, pastor, evangelist and author. He has written several books including, “Come Home America.” His subject is Sept. 11, 2001.
