N.D. Guard unit training in Congo

BISMARCK (AP) — Some North Dakota National Guard soldiers are training in the Republic of Congo.

BISMARCK (AP) — Some North Dakota National Guard soldiers are training in the Republic of Congo.

The Guard said 27 members of the 814th Area Support Medical Company of Bismarck and Grand Forks are taking part in a medical exercise focused on responding to humanitarian emergencies.

About 100 U.S. and 250 Congolese military personnel are participating in the exercise that runs through Sept. 18.
