Semi driver killed in crash

A driver is dead after his tractor-trailer hit a ditch and rolled over in northwest North Dakota.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A driver is dead after his tractor-trailer hit a ditch and rolled over in northwest North Dakota.

The Highway Patrol says the crash occurred at 9:15 p.m. Monday on Highway 1806, about 20 miles northeast of Watford City.

Troopers say the driver of the semi failed to negotiate a curve on the highway. The truck then ran off the road and rolled.

The driver died at the scene.
