Letter to the editor: Support the measure for county Extension funding

Stutsman County Extension provides a number of valuable programs and resources to the people of Stutsman County. Our local agents are great resources for information on topics ranging from food and nutrition, home and family life, crops and horticulture.

My experiences with Stutsman County Extension have been both personal and professional. As a child and adolescent, I was involved with the 4-H programs. Recently, Stutsman County Extension has been a valuable resource for me professionally, providing information and training to families I have worked with. Educational programs covering child development, positive discipline practices and food safety have been facilitated by our local extension service personnel. The publications and resources Extension has available are valuable to me, as they provide research-based information which is up to date, easy to read, and free of charge.

Stutsman County Extension provides many important services to the residents of Stutsman County. Your support of Measure 1 will guarantee they continue.
