Men sentenced in ND drug case

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Two Washington state men have been sentenced in a Red River Valley drug trafficking case.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Two Washington state men have been sentenced in a Red River Valley drug trafficking case.

Guadalupe Navarro and Regino Prieto of the Yakima, Wash., area had pleaded guilty in North Dakota federal court to conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Authorities say the two men arranged to have methamphetamine moved from Washington to Minnesota and elsewhere.

Navarro was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Prieto received a 1-year prison term.
