Man pleads guilty to firearm charge

BISMARCK (AP) — A North Dakota man has pleaded guilty in federal court to an illegal weapons charge.

BISMARCK (AP) — A North Dakota man has pleaded guilty in federal court to an illegal weapons charge.

Eric Bredwick is charged with possession of a firearm by a person convicted of domestic violence. He was arrested in May.

Authorities said Bredwick was convicted by a Williston municipal court in July 2007 for misdemeanor simple assault and domestic violence. He was later found to have a semiautomatic pistol.

Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 13 in Bismarck.
