Series of workshops held for community

The North Dakota Workforce Development Council – State Commission on National and Community Service is hosting a series of workshops to discuss the different programs offered by the Corporation for National and Community Services including AmeriCorps, Senior Corps and Learn & Serve.

Participants will learn about how they can access the programs. Qualifying organizations include non-profit and faith-based organizations, local and state government entities, American Indian tribes, school and police districts, institutions of higher education, and partnerships among any of the above.

Area workshops are planned as follows:

Oct. 14: 9:30 a.m. to noon, Bismarck, North Dakota Department of Commerce office building, 1600 East Century .

Oct. 19: 9:30 a.m. to noon, Fargo Job Service office building, 1350 32nd St. S.
