Men charged in local burglaries

KOVC-AM reported that authorities have charged two men in the July 22 burglaries. An undisclosed amount of cash and several items were reported missing from a bar, a general store and a parts store.
Barnes County Sheriff Eugene Bjerke said in a statement that 23-year old Benjamin Joseph Nordick of Wahpeton and 23-year-old Cody Allen Buchanan of Spiritwood Lake will face 3 counts of burglary and theft.
Bjerke says Nordick is being held in Lino Lake, Minn., and Buchanan is in prison in Bismarck.
Fewer than 250 people live in Wimbledon.
