Blue Jays Allmer drops to third in poll
Jamestown’s Alison Allmer dropped one spot in the latest Class A cross country rankings to No. 3. Allmer had spent the previous two weeks at No. 2, but now trails Brecca Wahlund of Minot and Taryn Lachowitzer of top-ranked Fargo Davies.

Allmer had spent the previous two weeks at No. 2, but now trails Brecca Wahlund of Minot and Taryn Lachowitzer of top-ranked Fargo Davies.
Allmer will square off with Wahlund Saturday at the West Region meet at Tom O’Leary Golf Course in Bismarck. The state meet will be a home game for Allmer when it’s run at Hillcrest Golf Course Oct. 23.
Taylor Palmer of Griggs County Central remains at No. 2 in the Class B girls’ poll.
Carrington is ranked fifth as a team.
