N.D. businesses get loan grants

Seven North Dakota businesses will get federal grants under a new small business loan program, the state’s congressional delegation announced Thursday. The loans, which total about $2.9 million, are funded by the Small Business Jobs Act, signed into law last month. The act aims to give small businesses access to capital.

Seven North Dakota businesses will get federal grants under a new small business loan program, the state’s congressional delegation announced Thursday.

The loans, which total about $2.9 million, are funded by the Small Business Jobs Act, signed into law last month. The act aims to give small businesses access to capital.

The biggest loan recipient is Twete Inc., a Devil’s Lake agriculture equipment dealer. The company received about $1.5 million.

Fargo’s Colortech Holdings will get $654,000. West Fargo’s GMR Leasing Inc. will get $55,000.

The other loan recipients are Dairy Barn restaurant in Dickinson, Double M Helicopters Inc. in Mandan, Energy Contract Services in Watford City, and On-Site Aviation Inc. in Hillsboro.
