African choir to sing at Trinity
On Sunday at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. worship services at Trinity Lutheran Church, 523 Fourth Ave. S.E., Jamestown, the African Children’s Choir will present a concert filled with children’s songs, traditional African songs and dances and favorite gospel tunes. This is part of the group’s 25-year anniversary tour. A freewill offering will be taken to help provide education, care and emergency relief for more than 7,000 children throughout seven countries.

Also, during these services, Janelle Dahl, who was part of a group of nursing students from Jamestown College who went to Kenya on a month-long education and mission trip, will be giving a brief overview of her experience in Kenya. At 9:45 a.m. that day, she will give a more detailed presentation and be ready to answer and discuss the trip.
