Seven North Dakota businesses will get federal grants under a new small business loan program, the state’s congressional delegation announced today.

The loans, which total about $2.9 million, are funded by the Small Business Jobs Act, signed into law last month. The act aims to give small businesses access to capital.

The biggest loan recipient is Twete Inc., a Devil’s Lake agriculture equipment dealer. The company received about $1.5 million.

Fargo’s Colortech Holdings will get $654,000. West Fargo’s GMR Leasing Inc. will get $55,000.
