Revering earns DAC POW honors

Jamestown College’s Samantha Revering was awarded defensive Dakota Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors for her performance during the Jimmie volleyball team’s 3-0 victory at Valley City State University last Wednesday.
Revering, a senior from Fergus Falls, Minn., posted 15 digs and six aces against the Vikings, while recording a serving percentage of .895 and a reception percentage of .824.
The Jimmies (11-11, 7-0 DAC) defeated Valley City State 25-17, 25-9, 25-17.
Revering, an outside hitter for the Jimmies, currently leads the DAC with 52 aces and is third on her team in kills with 149. Revering’s 299 digs so far this season is second only to senior libero Krysten Williams’ 300 digs.
