Aberdeen edged Jamestown 21-20 in junior varsity football action on Tuesday. Anthony Cook had a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown and a 68-yard kickoff return for two of the Blue Jay touchdowns.

The other came on a 38-yard touchdown pass from Matt Grounds to CJ Soulis.
Grounds ran for 93 yards on 13 carries and completed three balls for 70 yards and was intercepted twice.
Cook had 51 yards rushing on 11 carries. Tyler Johnson logged six carries for 13 yards, Terry Bruns had two carries for six yards and Ryan Hillerud had one rush for eight yards.
Soulis caught two passes for 64 yards and Johnson had one catch for six yards.
Bruns and Colin Kleese each had eight tackles. Johnson and Hillerud added seven and Zane Braun six. Chris Heinrich and Sean Lindberg each had one interception.
Joey Kramlich had five tackles and Patrick Lane three.
The JHS JV closes outs its season on Monday against the Minot junior varsity.
