The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and one verse of “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” was sung. Harold Trautman led the prayer.

President Mike Vettel introduced the guests. The Zwingers and Holstad attended the zone meeting following the regular meeting. Andersen was guest speaker.

Heinrich reported on the progress of ticket sales for the 22nd Annual Buffalo Feed. As of the meeting there were still 22 books (220 tickets) left to be sold. Hager took the remaining tickets and had them at Unison Bank. Members were asked to bring large electric roasters to the next meeting if they have them for the buffalo meat. They will then be taken to the KC Hall. Paulson volunteered the JC wrestling team to help the day of the feed in the kitchen as well as busing tables. The Boy Scouts also assisted in busing tables.

The treasurer’s report was accepted.

A dinner of stuffed peppers and tossed green salad was served.

Andersen presented a program on the 2011 Jamestown property taxes and where property tax funds are distributed. A question-and-answer period followed.

The next meeting is at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Buffalo City Grille. Members should bring their money for their ticket sales.
