Meeting set about welding class

An organizational/informational meeting is being held at the James Valley Career and Technology Center to discuss the possibility of holding two-week welding classes to create a pool of welders for area manufacturers.

An organizational/informational meeting is being held at the James Valley Career and Technology Center to discuss the possibility of holding two-week welding classes to create a pool of welders for area manufacturers. Certified welders will be needed to instruct the classes through the Community Education Program which uses the registration fees to pay instructors $25/per hour.

Anyone interested in becoming a welder or if who is a certified welder and is interested in being an instructor, is encouraged to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the James Valley Career and Technology Center, 910 12th Ave. N.E., Jamestown. No registration is necessary at this time.
