DAC cross country meet here today
Hillcrest Golf Course will host the Dakota Athletic Conference cross country meet today. Black Hills State is the favorite in both the men’s and women’s races. The Yellow Jacket women have won five straight conference titles and are ranked ninth in the latest NAIA top 25 — the only DAC team ranked.

Minot State got six votes in the poll and Jamestown College one.
The Jimmies do have the individual favorite on the women’s side in Katie Conlon, who already has one at Hillcrest this season and four overall.
The women’s race starts at Noon.
Dakota State is the defending men’s conference champion, but Black Hills State appears to be the team this time around. The men’s race is scheduled to start at 12:45 p.m.
Black Hills State and Dakota State are the lone two DAC schools to get votes in the NAIA top 25.
The national meet will be run Nov. 20 in Vancouver, Wash.
