Diocese hosting leadership event

The Catholic Diocese of Fargo Youth Department, in conjunction with the high school leadership team of the Catholic Youth Advisory Council, will host an all-day event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 20 in Harvey, N.D., for students in grades 9 through 12.

The Catholic Diocese of Fargo Youth Department, in conjunction with the high school leadership team of the Catholic Youth Advisory Council, will host an all-day event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 20 in Harvey, N.D., for students in grades 9 through 12.

The keynote speaker for the Senior High Youth Celebration will be Justin Fatica, Syracuse, N.Y., and originator of the teen ministry “Hard As Nails.” Fatica will talk to the students about the importance of Christ in their lives. He will share the struggles he had growing up and how he managed to work through them.

The day will include 10 different workshops being presented in the afternoon and a dance.

The cost of attending, which includes two meals, is $30 per student and $15 per chaperone. Registration information is available at all Catholic churches in the Diocese of Fargo, which encompasses the eastern half of North Dakota.
