Block new pastor at Atonement

The Rev. Scott Block has been called as the new pastor of Atonement Lutheran Church, Jamestown, on Oct. 17. He graduated from Luther Seminary and served a two-point Parish at Oakes and Cogswell, N.D.

Installation will be held at the 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. services on Nov. 7 with the Rev. Terry Brandt, associate to the bishop, officiating. A potluck dinner follows the installation at 11:45 a.m. to welcome Block and his wife, Pat.
